Verica Tadić was born in Donji Dubac (1949), Municipality of Guča, Serbia. She graduated from the Economics Faculty (Dipl. ecc) and the Higher School for Labor Organization (Labor Organization Engineer).
She has been publishing contemporary poetry, haiku poems, essays, reviews, studies, stories, sentences and aphorisms in domestic and international magazines.
She is represented in numerous literary editions and magazines, in forty joint books, as well as in thirty anthologies.

She is also the winner of several International awards:

"AKT" magazine, Award, for the shortest story ( third award), Valjevo, Serbia, 2007);
Nagrada FCG Fondation Naji Naaman, from Lebanon, 2018, "Honor prizes (for complete works)";
Third award at the International Competition for Literature, Calligraphy, Painting and Photography, "Zheng Nian Cup", (For Literary Essay on the Works of Milorad Pavić), Beijing, China, 2023.
Award of the World Forum of Poets and Artists for thought and creativity in Egypt, and the World magazine of poets for thought and creativity, Cairo, Egypt, 2023.
"Writer Sayed Goma" Award (second award) for International Creativity for 2024, International Poetry Competition for the 20 best poets from twenty countries, Cairo, Egypt, 2024.
Prize of the Literary Workshop "Kordun" and the Literary ESNAF, for essay writing, for the year 2024 (for the first half of the year), whose founder, publisher and editor is a Serbian writer Ilija Šaula.
In addition to these awards, he is also the recipient of several awards and certificates from various countries around the world.
The magazine "Svitak", (number 27 - 28 / 2001) is dedicated to the work of Verica Tadić.
The international magazine "Diogen" plus, pro cultura magazine, from Sarajevo, which is printed in the Library of Congress USA, dedicated 47 pages to Verica Tadić (publishing 25 of her poems).

She is a member of the World Organization for Peace - "Poets and Peace", from Tunisia.
Her poetry and prose have been translated into several foreign languages: English, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Polish, Slovak, Slovenian and Arabic.
She lives in Čačak.
